Pakistani actor Fawad Khan has a huge fan following not just in Pakistan but also in India. In a recent interview on the show Excuse Me, Fawad spoke about his experience working in Bollywood.
Talking about his Bollywood debut “Khoobsurat”, the 42-year-old shared that he had to undergo an audition but his previous work in Pakistani dramas also helped him get the role. When asked if he aimed to expand his career internationally after becoming popular in Pakistan, Fawad said he was just improvising as he went along.
After “Khoobsurat”, Fawad starred in Kapoor & Sons which he said is close to his heart because of the wonderful team. The host appreciated Fawad’s acting in the film, saying it brought out his skills as an actor.
When asked if his immense popularity in Bollywood made Indian actors envious, posing a threat to them, Fawad responded it’s a tough question. However, he said he received a lot of love from Indian audiences.
